KNQF Amendment Bill 2024 (Kenya National Qualifications Framework) is described in the Act as “An Act of Parliament to amend the Kenya National Qualifications Framework Act, 2014.". The KNQF Amendment Bill 2024 aims to improve the recognition of qualifications at all levels of formal and non-formal education and training; ensure that qualifications meet the needs of the labour market, economy and society; regulate qualifications, assessment and certification, based on quality and standards; improve access to assessment, including the recognition of prior learning; make the qualifications system flexible and transparent; and to improve opportunities for improvement and transfer (mobility) for all.
