The National Building Code 2024 | National Construction Authority
The National Building Code 2024 is published by the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works, in consultation with the Board of National Construction Authority IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred on it by section 42 (2) (aa) of the National Construction Authority Act. The code aims to mitigate and prevent accidents at construction sites, promoting order and safety in construction works, and the health and safety of persons in or about construction works. The National Construction Authority Act No. 41 of 2011 (the Act) publishes the code in exercising its oversight mandate over the Construction Industry. The National Building Code 2022 also informs and updates the general public on industry trends and performance.
